TypeFlowUltra is a free typing course and a set of government exam typing simulators, built and maintained by one independent developer in India. There is no company behind it, no signup, no paywall and no user account — everything on the site works in your browser and your progress stays on your own device.
Why the site exists
Typing practice sites fall into two groups. International sites train speed well but know nothing about Indian recruitment formats, so a candidate preparing for SSC CHSL or a High Court post has no way to practise the test they will actually sit. Indian exam sites usually know the formats but hide the practice behind registrations, paid packs or aggressive advertising. TypeFlowUltra was built to cover the gap: the full thirty day course and every exam simulator are free and open, and the scoring formula for each exam is printed on screen rather than hidden.
Who writes the content
The site is written and maintained by its developer, a software builder based in Haryana, India, who built the typing engine, the Hindi InScript keyboard mapping and all the guide pages. Exam pages are written from official notices and rule books rather than from other coaching sites, and every page links to the source documents it relies on so you can check them yourself.
Editorial policy
- Sources are named. Every exam page lists the official notice, rule book or government portal its numbers come from, and links to it.
- Uncertainty is stated. Where boards publish conflicting or changing figures, the page says so instead of picking a number and presenting it as settled.
- Pages carry an update date. Exam norms are re-checked against official sources periodically, and the date on each page reflects the last check.
- No affiliation is claimed. TypeFlowUltra is not connected to SSC, the Railway Recruitment Boards, MAP_IT, any High Court or any state commission, and does not sell certificates, guarantees or results.
- Original writing. All guide text and all practice passages are written for this site. Passages are original administrative-style prose, not copied from books or other websites.
How the typing engine works
Everything runs client-side. There is no backend, no database and no tracking script. Your test attempts and course progress are written to your browser's local storage, which is why your streak survives a reload but does not follow you to another device. Clearing your browser data clears your progress, and nothing on the site can recover it — because nothing was ever uploaded. Details are in the privacy policy.
The Hindi typing simulators include a Devanagari InScript keyboard implemented in JavaScript, mapping each QWERTY key to the character produced by the Windows Devanagari-INSCRIPT layout used in Mangal typing tests. This lets candidates practise the real exam layout without installing a Hindi keyboard.
Corrections and contact
If a figure on any exam page no longer matches the current notification, please report it — corrections are made quickly, because a wrong speed norm is worse than no page at all. Write through the contact page.
