High Court Junior Assistant Typing Test (Mangal InScript)
High Court clerical recruitment is one of the few places where Hindi typing is often restricted to the Mangal InScript layout, and where the typing test can carry marks rather than merely qualify. This simulator follows the widely used Allahabad High Court pattern: ten minutes, 30 WPM English or 25 WPM Hindi.

Why High Court typing tests need a different preparation
Two features set these tests apart. First, in several High Courts the typing test contributes marks to the final merit list instead of being purely qualifying, which means clearing the minimum is not enough — every extra clean word improves your position. Second, the Hindi layout is often specified rather than left to the candidate, and Mangal InScript is the usual specification. A candidate who trained on Kruti Dev or on a phonetic tool can be unable to type at all in the centre.
Check your own High Court's advertisement carefully on the point of layout. If it names InScript, treat that as the only layout you will practise from the day you apply.
Marks, not just a pass mark
Where marks are awarded, the arithmetic usually deducts a small fraction of a mark for every mistake against a fixed-length passage. The practical effect is that accuracy is worth more than speed twice over: it protects your net speed and it protects your marks. A candidate typing 30 WPM at 99% accuracy will normally outscore one typing 36 WPM at 93%.
This is the opposite of the instinct most candidates bring from written papers, where attempting more is usually better. On a marked typing test, attempting more badly is worse than attempting less cleanly.
